Brazilian Publishers promotes 3rd international matchmaking session


Between June 29 and July 10, Brazilian Publishers – sectorial project of the Brazilian Book Chamber (CBL) carried out in partnership with the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (Apex-Brasil) – conducts yet another session of International matchmaking. The negotiations between Brazilian publishers participating in the Program and the 30 confirmed international houses take place in the Brazilian Publishers application. The app is available for Android and iOS platforms.

“In the midst of the pandemic, this chance is more than valuable for publishers looking to further expand their reach and present, even remotely, their works to players in the global book market. International houses are still open to meet our authors and learn more about catalogs and news”, says Fernanda Dantas, executive manager of Brazilian Publishers.

The business roundtables have been going on since May on the Brazilian Publishers app. It also contains information about the Brazilian publishing market, access to the internationalization guide for the publishing market, registration for international events and notifications about exclusive actions. In the tool, supported companies also have access to a space for scheduling virtual meetings.
