Brazilian Publishers launches app and holds the second international business round

App Brazilian Publishers

Next Monday (25) is the date of the global launch of the application by Brazilian Publishers — an industry project fostering exports of Brazilian editorial content through a partnership between the Brazilian Book Chamber (CBL) and the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (Apex-Brasil). The tool is available for Android and IOS and the download is free.

On May 25th, international publishers will have access to the app, and the second business round between foreign publishing houses and the Brazilian publishing companies that are members of the Apex-Brasil program will take place. Twenty-five Brazilian publishers interested in negotiating the rights to their books have registered already to participate in such business round.

All the matchmaking meetings happen on the Brazilian Publishers application, which also provides information on the Brazilian publishing industry and access to a publishing market internationalization guide, as well as an area destined for virtual meeting scheduling.

“We from the Brazilian Publishers team are really proud of the global launch of the app. We have been working hard to make available to Brazilian publishers all kinds of digital tools that may help them to make deals with international publishers, even during this quarantine period”, says Fernanda Dantas, Executive Manager of Brazilian Publishers. And she adds: “The Brazilian Publishers application was developed to be a perfect meeting point for professionals from the publishing industry”, she completes.
