About publishing company:
Following the sinuous steps of trickery since the days of Rio’s malting and revisiting historical scenes such as the boot-down, the vaccine revolt, the Paraguayan war, the black confraternities, samba and religiosity, Jorge Felipe Columá investigates as the figure of malandro fits in with that of capoeirista in a symbiosis that goes far beyond the circles and constitutes an identity, or rather, a philosophy of life. Using the magnifying glass of social imaginary that allows us to see beyond appearances, linearity, the figure of the trickster appears as a pervasive myth in the capoeirista imagination, suggesting a deepening of the relationships between them.
